The Weapon!

I have seen plays and movies where an actress is standing strong on the word of God. She has oil in one hand and her holy bible in the other hand. She rebukes evil, and in the movie, the devil flees? There have been moments in life, I rebuked the devil and he did not flee. I had my holy bible and my praying oil and I declared no weapon formed against me will prosper, but it continued too. Because I did not have my mind focused on God, I did not have my heart full of God’s love. We need to ask God to rebuke Satan, as God is way more powerful than we are. When you use the powerful words of God, you have to make sure that you believe and have faith in your declaration, as love, faith, and belief will overcome the enemy! You cannot use the power of praise to drive the devil away if your heart is full of anger. 1 Peter 4:8 (NIV) “Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers a multitude of sins.”

Isaiah 54:17 “No weapon formed against you shall prosper,
And every tongue which rises against you in judgment
You shall condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
And their righteousness is from Me,”
Says the Lord.”

As a new Christian, I had an idea of what I thought my Christian Journey would be like. As I matured in my walk with Christ, I realized I did not have a clue about living righteously. I had no idea about the struggles that I would face, but I learned that God will lead and guide you as long as you surrender everything to Him. I had to learn to pray, praise, and fast my way through the struggles of this world.  God placed in my heart to share my experience as well as some of my insights in the hopes to make other people’s life make sense. As well as to bless someone, with a way of escape so they do not have to remain in a spiritual battle because they can learn to surrender everything to God in prayer.
